Extension Of Validity Period Of Consent To Operate Or Authorization In West Bengal
The West Bengal Pollution Control Board, vide notification No. 313-397/WPB/O&E/2020 has extended the validity period of consent to operate and consent to authorization till 30.06.2021 for health care establishments, bio medical waste management facilities municipal solid waste management facilities, health and hygiene care products, oxygen and oxygen cylinders, continuous process industries, production and packaging of milk, poultry fish and meat. The extension is granted to all such units, who have valid consent to operate up to 31st May and have applied to the State Board online or have submitted hard copy of renewal of consent to operate. Extension Of Validity Period Of Consent To Establish Or Operate In Punjab
Punjab Pollution Control Board vide notification no. 316 in the interest of public has extended the validity period of consent to establish/operate, authorization, registration and any other mandatory regulatory clearance which comes under the domain of the Punjab Pollution Control Board and having expiry on or after 31st March 2021, for a period of six months till 30th September 2021. Chhattisgarh State Pollution Control Board vide notification dated 18th May 2021 has informed that it is accepting online applications for establishment consent, operating consent and renewal of consent under Ease of Doing Business. No Application Fee For Processing Authorization Under Various Rules In Telangana
The Telangana State Pollution Control Board vide notification no. 91/TSPCB/Gen/EODB/HO/2015-211 has clarified that there is no fee for processing of the application for authorization under hazardous and Other Wastes (Management and Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016; Authorization/ Renewal under E-Waste(Management) Rules, 2016 and Registration/ Renewal under Plastic Waste Management Rules, 2016. The applicant shall pay the prescribed consent fee along with application for CFO under Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act 1981.Please refer the notification for details

Extension Of Validity Period Of Consent To Establish Or Operate In Tamil Nadu
The Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board vide notification No.TNPCB/P&D/F.19205/2019 has extended the validity of Consent to Operate under Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act,1974 and Air (Prevention and control of pollution) Act,1981 or Authorization under Hazardous and other waste (management and transboundary movement) Rules,2016, Bio-Medical Waste Management Rules,2016, Solid Waste Management Rules,2016 for all the units, who have valid consent to establish or consent to operate up to 31st March 2021 for a period of eight months up to 30th November 2021. The Gujarat Factories (Amendment) Rules,2021
The Government of Gujarat vide notification no.No.GHR/202 1/39/FAC/14202 1/194/M3 has amended Rule 68-B of The Gujarat Factories Rules, 1963. As per the amendment, the personal protective equipment's (PPE) shall now be approved by the Chief Inspector of Factories and where PPE does not have relevant approval as per Indian Standards or not having approval from the Chief Inspector of Factories they shall be compliant; provided that they follow the EN (European Standard) or ANSI (American National Standards Institute) or ISO (International Organization for Standardization) standards as the case may be.
